I will be going to israel for 8 days and I’m staying in Jerusalem from Tuesday to Sunday. My hotel is booked and I can’t cancel. I have no plans for Sunday or Monday. My flight back home is Monday evening at 9. We were thinking to go to the Galilee for one day, from Sunday morning around 12 to Monday and then get back in time to Tel Aviv for our flight home. Is that a crazy thing to do? Or is there any other options of where to go north for that Sunday and half of Monday?

In that case, this sounds like a shaky plan. Especially if you are doing this in the summer. Traveling by bus is exhausting when it's hot, and time-consuming in any weather. Plus, what will you do with your luggage?
Maybe I don't understand your plan. Can you walk me through the logistics?

I don’t really have any plan lol. I just need an idea of where to go for Sunday and Monday and thought the kinneret would be nice, we would take the bus to a hotel there and spend the rest of the day there and part of Monday, but I obviously didn’t take the hot bus or the luggage into account. Any ideas of where else I can go for those two days?

Please bear in mind that it is terribly hot there. Not suitable for hanging out.
