hi,
does anyone know if there's anything interesting to do in or near AC...maybe paddle boating or something like that? (oh, and its for a vacation for adults) TIA

I went there with my sisters (all adults) and we went jet skiing. It was a blast!

It really isn't. It was a pretty small area so we just kept goin' around and around and around...but it was fun. There's also a great restaurant there: pretty pricey, but the food is good if you know what to order (hint: ribs  ). It's called Shari's Steak House. I believe it's in the Clarion hotel.

Jet skiing is not nearly as scary as it seems. You control the speed, it's all in your hands!
A lot of fun! I would suggest you try it. You could also go with your husband if you're really scared riding it!
