May name baby chaya, not loving it,
I know there really isn't to many nicknames with it... Chai, Chayala, anything else?

Chayie seems way to hard on the mouth. Unless I don't know how to pronounce it. Chay-ee?

I know a Chaya who decided to call herself “Liv” when she was a kid because the word translates to “life.”

I love the sound of Chayala. I know a couple of Chayalas whose older siblings were still babies themselves and couldn’t say the Ch sound so they became Lala (like you’d be singing) or Ila (like a long I sound or the word I followed by la).
