Only using blech
Do I boil soup to rapid boil before Shabbos and then place on blech?
What about chicken and brisket. Do I heat in oven first?

Soup I usually boil before putting on blech, but when licht is relatively late as it is now, and the food is ready well ahead, I put the blech on an hour or two ahead and let the food heat on the blech before lowering the flame before licht. That way I know everything's set up and no last-minute rush to put on the blech.

Heat the pans in the oven before and then either put them on top of the soup or on the other part of the blech.
