I'd be in trouble if I didn't mix. So many of my favorite fish recipes are dairy.

We eat lox and cream cheese but we do not eat milk and fish together.

We're Chassidish.
We mix fish & dairy if it's cold, but we don't cook them together.
My husband says that butter is different than all other milk products and that we can cook fish in butter.

I grew up litvish - tuna melt & tuna & noodles au gratin was yummy...It's okay, now that I don't eat that stuff I could still stand to lose 20 pounds!

depends what you mean mix I wont eat tuna cheese patties or cream cheese and lox sandwitch but ill eat fish and to the side eat something dairy im trying to think if the same plate but I dont think so ill drink milk after eating fish but not while ... im chassidish
