Why are you in the hospital? (Ignore that nosy question)
Do you have a local bikur cholim taking care of you in terms of food?
Is there a bikur cholim room or sukkah?
Are you allowed out of your bed/room/ward?
Do you have kids at home? Who is taking care of them?
Is someone going to be with you?
Just want to say that I have spent shabbosim alone in the hospital with no visitors (post birth and also for other medical reasons), and it's doable if you have nice food and lots of reading material (variety of magazines and different types of books), and a siddur and Tehillim

Thanks! Amein!
My baby wasn't feeling well the past few days. He had a doctor's appointment today and she said it was just a virus.
A few hours later, after I couldn't get his fever to drop or his coughing no matter what I tried, we ended up in the hospital
Possibly pneumonia.

I spent Shabbos in the hospital after he was born, hated it and cried the entire day.
This is a real flashback.
No other kids at home
My husband needs a sukkah, doesn't eat or sleep outside of one. I know this year is different, we didn't make any decisions.

I want my son to feel better, I tear up with each hacking cough. It's so painful to watch.
Thanks for asking though.

Refuah Shleimah! While I didn’t spent yt in the hospital, I did spend some time in the hospital last year with my 4 week old who had rsv. It’s really hard watching your baby in pain. Hope he feels better fast!

Refuah Sheleimah! I spent RH, YK, and Succos in the hospital five years ago. It's not fun. For the first couple of years after that, I'd get flashbacks when that time of year came around, but BH that's gone already.
We had a sukkah at the bikur cholim - does your hospital have one?
Do you have food?
I hope you're reaching out, there are so many amazing yidden who are there to help you!

So sorry. This brings back memories when we had to be in the hospital on pesach when my daughter was 8 months old with RSV (doctor also kinda brushed off but we trusted our gut bH)
