Had a photo of a one of the women (85 year old grandmother) taken hostage printed? I was really surprised and pretty impressed that they put that in.

Which I thought was smart for those who needed a distraction over Shabbos. I was surprised Rechy didn't mention it. But overall I think it was a good decision.
Of course I couldn't control myself and I mainly read the Ami and Mishpacha.

Which magazine was it that wrote about Bnai Yisroel winning wars cause of achdus in the times of Achav and losing in the times of Dovid Hamelech due to machlokes.?
Such a powerful lesson!

Same. I read the aimliving when I felt I needed a break/distraction and then later read the regular aim when I was more in the right frame of mind for it.
I felt a bit bad with that distraction, but I'm such a mess over everything and really needed that break for a bit.

Ami always puts news only into the regular Ami and just keep the Ami living light.

They have been running pics of women in mishpacha for at least two or three years now. I remember the gorgeous article about the women of the telz community in europe that had pictures of women a couple years ago. And every time another article comes out people seem to think its the first time they are printing a picture of a woman

Mishpacha had a big section about the war. FF had a small part which I thought was nice. It was much less harsh and better for sensitive readers like myself. I cried reading it. I do t think its a bad thing to have had it in both parts, in fact I think it's important that every Jewish publication mention the massacre.
