Seriously!!! How hard is it? And especially when you are going to make a left turn and there are cars behind you at a light, but no left turn lane….

If you signal you are turning, I am able to cross the street on the opposite side and not have to wait

That's not the choice. The choice is to get behind the wheel or not. Once you choose the former, you are bound by some sort of responsibility.
