My daughter was trained through the night at a pretty late age, but for sure by six she was keeping herself dry at night. Never had a problem until this past summer. She’s 10. She has accidents more frequently than not. This is without drinking before bedtime and with me waking her up to go during the night. She refuses to wear pull-ups. I had her sugars tested and BH normal. I’m at my wits end and so is she.

Could be pinworms.

Pinworms can cause bedwetting. In some children, that's the only symptom.

Just thinking, though I don't have personal experience, but perhaps, PANDAS?

Have you tried using a bedwetting alarm?

Could be related to anxiety due to the war.

Could something have happened/started happening this summer, which could be the cause? Bullying/molestation? Ch”v

There are pills by prescription from pediatrician to stop bed wetting.

They are temporary - not meant for long term, just Ron enable sleepovers etc,

My daughter is a bit younger but this happened each year for the past 3 years. Ped said it’s probably behavioral- school started again and she started ignoring the urge to go, and holding it in so the urge in deep sleep doesn’t register and it just comes out. The suggestion was to drink a very large water bottle over the day, make sure to listen to the urge to go, go twice before bed, and no liquids after dinner. Bh so far it’s worked.

My son had this and it was extreme constipation crowding his bowels and pressing on his bladder. We put him on a regimen of enemas and it went away. Most likely her problem is constipation or crowding in that area, not a psychological problem.

A book that helped us was “It’s No Accident” by Dr Steven Hodges.

When my daughter wets her bed, I know I need to test her for strep. Strange but it seems to be a (the only) symptom sometimes.

Start with your pediatrician and see if you can go to a pediatric urologist. My daughter had issue with #1 accidents and this helped us a lot.
