My child is very quiet in school. Shes in third grade.
Shes also shy when friends come to play in our house. What kind of therapy do I need for her to help her open up? She's more shy than the regular shy kid.

Therapy to build up her self-esteem, and perhaps also to help with social skills, so she feels more confident.

I don't know about therapy, but as a former shy kid I can tell you please do not "explain" her behavior to others in front of her by telling them "she's shy." I know it's unsolicited advice, but I thought I'd share.
