Qeelbree , how long does it take for side effects to go away

My son started Qeelbree, and I see real side effects .
For various reasons we are kinda at the end of the rope w/ meds
He can’t be on any stimulant
So even though Qeelbree might be staring to help him in school, he is very irritable & majorly drowsy & tired through the day
It’s been just a short time, but it’s like he is as angry and irritable as if he wasn’t on any ADHD meds
Do we wait it out , or is this medication just not right ?
