Looking for budget friendly ideas.
I cannot make a Lakewood or Monsey takana wedding.
The idea of spending 50-75K + on a wedding makes me nauseous, it is 5 hours. 5 hours. (I am aware I will probably need to spend 50-60K. Please help me not spend 80)
Any recommendations or ideas.

Just want to say that you don't need to make a takana wedding in all the Monsey halls.
I was going to make one at YSV but I realized I had too many people so in the end it made more sense not to do takana

Mazel tov!
We made ours at ateret charna. We kept to the basics and didn’t add extra people and came in around $30k including flowers, band, photographer, benchers, invitations.
We had to take the higher package because it was a Sunday but they had a lower version.
Two years ago. I imagine prices have changed.

Did you try Bais Faiga / Ateres Chana? I always thought the Lakewood/in town weddings were cheaper - they do them daily and have them down to a science. But could be there’s something I don’t know about. My out of town family complains about the prices of weddings.

Can you make a Monsey not takana wedding or you specifically don’t want Monsey? Atrium and Charna you can make nicer than takana but not over the top. Lakewood halls also you can make nice weddings in as many upgrades as you want. For sure Neimas Hachaim and Lake Terrace.
I’ve also been to some wedding recently in bell works if that’s not too far.

Another vote for Brightstone. I got married there, and have been to two gorgeous weddings there more recently.
