When my first kid was born it was the Braun thermoscan ear thermometer. Mine just died. New battery not helping, it doesn't turn on at all.
Is that still the one to get or is there something better now?

Not sure how young your child s but rectal is the best.. frida baby makes a good one

I'm not using a rectal thermometer every time someone says they don't feel well and might have fever... thanks tho?

My doctor's office is using some kind of forehead thing now. Not sure exactly what it is, we've only been there a couple of times lately. Previous doctor had been using oral but the kids were older, now we have a baby as well but at home I was still using the ear thermometer for the whole family.
