I see there’s a rally tomorrow in Ottawa Canada. Do frum ppl live there? If so what’s it like?

Yes, it’s a small frum community. I’ve visited Ottawa multiple times but didn’t stay nearby the community, but there are kosher options (which are really delicious) and I’ve heard the shuls are great.
I’ve also met a few people from the Ottawa community and they’re super nice. If you’re interested in a small community in a town that’s not so active, I recommend it.

My friend used to live there.
I know she went with her husband to teach and help be mekarev people. I think there are a number of frum families who live there in order to give to the community.

They used to have both a CC Yeshiva and BMG kollel, but sady, I believe both have closed down

There is a small community there. I was planning to move there a few years ago as I was enrolling in a cooking school located there, but then I got pregnant with my first and had to cancel my plans

UJA of Canada said that 17 out of 70 buses that they had booked were cancelled. They think it was more than the weather

Ottawa is the capital of Canada so its prob similar to the one in Washington
