I'd love to get one of these games for my kids -elementary school age.
Can anyone tell me a description of how to play either?
If you have both, how do they compare? Which do your kids like better?
My kids love a good game to play together, but are picky in which games they like.
TIA!

Twisted kichels is similar to Apples to Apples.
Kichel It is similar to Taboo.

Twisted is more similar to cards against humanity which is great because CAH is not family friendly but it's a great concept. The play is similar to apples to apples but the first card is the beginning of a sentence and the other players have to put down an end of the sentence.

Any additional opinions on this??
I would like to buy it as a gift for someone with a few pre-teens. Which is more fun/suitable for their ages?

I like twisted kichels better. I don't know what your demographic is but it is very culturally yeshivish. My kids didn't understand a lot of the references or cards.

My kids (teens) like both. Kichel it needs teams (although we’ve had fun with it just 3 people).

Kichel It is more like Taboo.
My kids are young and we live OOT so they don't know what most of the things are WITH the forbidden words, but it's like "umm....ummm..ummm"--they aren't quite ready for it.
My kids LOVE Twisted Kichels.

What ages are your kids?
For ages 10 - 14, which would you recommend?

My kids are 9-13. My 13 year old has communication issues, so he's not great at Kichel It, but generally all 3 of them don't know what many of the things are--like a few I remember are "The Lakewood Lake", "The DMV", "A farher". One of them that I got was "Throwing a tantrum"-- my kids don't usually "throw tantrums"--baby cries/is kvetchy, but tantrums are rare in my house, so it wasn't something my kids picked up on.
If it matters Twisted Kichels is much more Shabbos friendly l'chatchila, Kichel It HAS a shabbos option but its not ideal, but it's really open ended as to how to play.
