I just bought 2 pkgs shredded cheese in the grocery and 1 pkg has mold. would you back to store to get credit for it?

I would call them first and let them know, so there's no hassle. Or ask them if you can return it next time you shop at the store (since it's unusable in any case), and hold on to it until then

Yes! And just a tip for the future!
I always open bag and check/smell it in the store. If it’s good I obviously buy it. If not I take it to customer service right away. Saves me the trip back!
( I used to have moldy bags every time I bought one, until I learned to check n store.)

I keep shredded cheese in freezer since it gets mold so fast in fridge. So just stick straight in there

Actually sometimes the store would prefer you drop it off so they can also get their money back.

I just got back from the grocery-the manager told me to take another pkg of cheese. hope its fresh cuz all bags look blown up. the expiration date is in March

If it's bad again, please call the manager so they can reach out to the vendor. One bag that happens...more than one in the same delivery and I would check the rest of them.
