All types, silent, black and white, color, only music, with sound.
We spread out our blankets and pillows in the living room and covered the window well.
I will always have a spot of nostalgia for Laurel and Hardy.

We had these in school. And sometimes it would jam up for a few seconds and the heat of the light would eat the frame and ruin the whole thing.
I miss slide projectors too.

A reel is a large wheel that the tape is wound on. A full one is set in the front of the projector. The tape is treaded through the projector then wound on an empty reel.

A bright light on the projector projects the movie onto the screen across the room.
The newer films had sound as well.
