wow, me too! No one else in my family - not my siblings, my parents, cousins, or my own kids can do that.

For the AMA question- do you have a better memory than most, or even a photographic memory?
Or do you find that this skill is purely processing based?

I don't have a photographic memory but I do have a really good memory for facts and information. When I was a little kid I used to be able to recite a paragraph after reading it only once or twice. Even now, sometimes my mouth will pull an answer out of somewhere before my brain has heard the question. I think the speed reading just comes from fast processing.

I speed read and I have a terrible memory! It’s just the processing
(I hope you don’t mind that I also answered OP, I just found this question interesting, I never would have thought the 2 go hand in hand)
