I am a high end photographer. Can’t speak for making a chosson album, which is a totally different service, but I do provide albums in all my packages. They are very high end and they obviously contain only my photos. When I sell them separately, depending on the size and configurations, I charge between $500-$1500

I was wondering the same.
I googled chosson album and found this:

For this kind of work, I would say between $150-200 plus the cost of the album. For 10-12 spreads. Charge for scanning photos though.

Some do. It’s becoming more widespread lately. My mom gave a small album with a few prints, not a professional printed photo book.

I assume in that case you are also taking the photos, whereas in OP's case, she is arranging and collating old family photos that someone provides for her.
