Are the salary threads started by employees or employers

Its January and its raise conversation time.
All these threads about women salaries are making me very very wary.
I am worried that these threads are actually started by employers and not really by fellow women employees.
These threads seem to target higher paying kind of positions.
Women are usually at a disadvantage once they hit higher positions, sadly, even more so in the frum workplaces. Giving information so freely on these threads could hurt women if the OP is the wrong person.
Anybody else feel this way?

Ive personally started a few over the years. Always the enployee. Ever the employer.

I don't even understand what you're even alluding to....
employers don't need imamother responses to know competitive salaries in their fields...
and this would be an extremely non-reliant, anecdotal way of collecting data in real time...

I highly doubt that any woman; in a position to hire mid level manager or similar would base her decisions off of discussion on this forum

Agreed.
It's not difficult to find out the range of salaries for positions they need filled.

I am the director of human resource department in a mid size company. I would never look at these responses to determine the salary of an employee. I do my research based on local salaries.
