Are you not too tired to be answering questions?

Good for you. I'm tired most of the time, thinking back, ever since I left school 30 years ago. Just adding, I don't have Lyme disease and my thyroid is okay. Guess life just makes me tired.

Well if you are a first time mother as your username suggests that would make sense. Welcome to the wonderful world of motherhood. Don’t expect to not be tired for the next 20 years! How fun!

Yes I am a first time mother but this sleepless night had nothing to do with it.
My baby is an angel at night bh.
But I do have terrible sleep anxiety.
I’m the op of the “so sad and anxious” thread of this morning.

Can your dh let you nap for a bit today?
Not 4 hours but like 45 mins just to help you get throught the rest of the day?

Also as for your sleep anxiety, do you ever meditate or listen to sleep meditations while you fall asleep?

As a chronic insomniac I feel you!
I didn’t sleep when I had babies and little ones and now they aren’t little but I still don’t sleep…….
I’ve tried everything.

The best tip my husband got during Sheva brochos was from my uncle. As we were leaving I said “I’m so tired” and my husband said “but you napped today” and my uncle said best thing to do is tell your wife that you know she’s tired. If she’s ever NOT tired she should inform you but going forward unless you’re told otherwise you will go under the assumption that she’s tired
