It's mostly the volumizer, they make ones now that are open in the back, and the volumizer builds in volume towards the back top of the head. They come in different sizes, and some are really tall. Most people I know wear just one scarf with this volumizer, but many scarves are designed to be a mix of fabrics, so it looks like more.
