Did you try again? calmly happily, or maybe while he is sleepy he would agree to nurse again

Not sure if this is useful at this point, but I experienced difficulty pumping for my oldest and didn't realize until after I'd weaned that the flanges were not the ideal size for me. If you plan on pumping in the future, maybe look up how the flanges are supposed to fit and double check that yours are the right size for you.

Yes I tried a few times, he wasn’t fooled…
I didn’t pump at all for the last 24 hours and just feel a bit full but no pain. At this point I don’t want to pump anymore. How do I dry up my milk?

My daughter did that to me at 10.5 months, I don't really remember. If you aren't pregnant you can probably take ibuprofen for the swelling/sore/fullness.

DD did that at the same age but she was EBF so I had to teach her to take a bottle. It did cause me a huge hormone shift. Worse than my others that weaned gradually.

Another DD tried to wean at 9 months but it was because she was sick. Iirc ear infection. When she felt better she came back and nursed till 19 months. The DD that did it at 11.5 Mos was done.
