My girls (twins) going into seventh average height on the shorter side, skinny, not developed yet. Are longer skirts to mature for this age. They will be 12 in the summer.

Do they want to wear longer skirts?
I have seen girls that age wearing skirts to the angle and girls wearing a bit past the knee. I would think it's how your girls want to wear their skirts that should be the deciding factor.
Then again I am fashion clueless so what do I know.

My daughter going into seventh will be wearing mostly long because otherwise feet always showing between knee sock and skirt. She will be 12 in March and we both agree her feet should be covered. She’s also pretty tall so can carry it. She is developed and not super skinny but not heavy.

My daughter going into sixth only wants to wear long skirts. She isn’t developed at all but honestly it’s easier because she’s tall and skinny, so we always have issues with the length otherwise (she needs a 14 for length and an 8 for the waist!)
