Literally never thought about it. Who cares if its harder to pronounce, lol. Most people I know who have hard to pronounce last names just go by Mrs A, Mrs B etc.
Although I will say I feel sorry for someone with a last name like Rotter

I love my husband dearly, Though his last name is a different story.. it’s not common at all.. I don’t like it.. I once asked him if he did and he said kids make fun of all types of names.. what’s one more, I’ll surely survive.. and Bh my kids aren’t made fun of.. and my maiden name isn’t common at all.. if you have the name, we are most probably related..

Dh's last name is super common. I have a normal, not too common maiden name.
I got married at 39 and kept my maiden name legally. Socially I do use my married last name because its what's done in my community.

I don't like my married name at all. Its a multisyllabic, very gutteral, harsh sounding name. Totally depends on the day whether DH is worth it or not LOL .

My maiden name is a short, smooth bisyllabic name that just rolls off the tongue. It's spelled in a more complicated way than it is pronounced, so plenty of people used to butcher it up as well.

My maiden name was difficult for people to pronounce. Some silent letters in there Can't Believe It

My married name is phonetic, but people get overwhelmed by the look of it. It's a cool name though. I like it Very Happy
Both names are totally not typical.
