The guests are milling in and chatting. You have to know your crowd, if everyone is early birds and will be there on time there is no reason for the chosson and kallah to come so late..15 minutes later would be perfect

I would say they should aim for 10-20 min late. Because then it still gives them time for real delays or just extra time to figure out her sheitel. If they aim for 30 min late and then there is traffic, it will be really frustrating.

We were staying in the same neighbourhood as most of our sheva Brachos so we made sure to be ready on time and had parents call us to say when we should come over.
