Grew up with one. Then started out sharing with dh, but he is a systematic neat and orderly squeezer, and I enjoy squishing it messy, then eventually me do and kids all prefer different toothpastes so now everyone has their own! And its much better than sharing. I would not prevent own tubes from happening, there are many benefits.

Thank you for all the perspectives.
I went out today and bought a few new toothpastes. I’m going to throw out the 7 tubes that are sitting around open and not being used.
I bought a few small clear organizers for the bathroom counter where each child can keep their toothbrush and toothpaste. Thanks to the poster who gave that idea.
I hope this solves our problem.
