Hello imas,
I see your replies to queries and quandaries again and again and am hoping you will be able to shed light on this.
My three year old has a high fever since shabbos day. High as in 102-103.8 consistently! This same child almost never has fever so I’m more than a little concerned.
I’ve been to the pediatrician 3 times and all tests have been coming back negative. I should not that on shabbos dc was on medication for a strept that was caught a week prior.
The first visit included a strept test, flu test, Covid test, checked the ears and the breathing, nada. Following day I went back and we did a blood test and checked the breathing again. The third day Dr said to stay home and only come in following day of child still fevering.
By midday on day 4 dr calls me to follow up and I said fever still high so we were sent for a chest X-ray and then went over to the pediatrician for a urine test. Everything seems good with both of them.
Came home and child was burning.
What should I do? What should I think?? What can it be?

There are many viruses going around now. I would just keep him hydrated and not panic unless it lasts more than a week.
