Quick lunch ideas?

I keep pasta in my fridge and serve it with melted cheese (not garbage American cheese, real mozzarella or cheddar or meunster) or cottage cheese.

Chumus or peanut butter (my kids love when I hand them a single serving cup) with pretzels or bread or veggies.

Cottage cheese with fruit mixed in.

Pita pizza (sauce and cheese on pita or wrap).

Tuna

Healthy smoothie

From experience, the younger my kids are exposed to more foods and flavors, the less picky they are
I haven’t given any of my kids baby food jars since 4 kids ago, I just give them what I make, WITH spices. Don’t give them bland things they’ll just have no taste for flavor as they get older
My older ones are still beyond picky, my younger ones eat whatever I make for supper

Also, OP, it might be worth it for you too do some reading about processed foods and additives and how it affects the body
Not to change anything, just to give you knowledge so when you give these foods, you know how much and why

Same exact experience. Older kids grew up on standard and are picky. Younger on real food including fruits and vegetables of all types and real adult food unedited and have a wide taste palate.

I either make fish chicken taco pasta soup for dinner and sometimes will eat it. Very picky and only wants noodles usually or yogurt

Do you eat together with him? Put some on his plate and talk about what you are eating?

He won't eat rice or other carbs?

My 2 year old eats the following when she gets home:
Smoothie with frozen fruit oat milk plain Greek yogurt with drop of maple syrup

Hard boiled egg

Tuna with crackers or pepper

She likes the baby sized apples

Celery sticks

Cucumbers

Homemade baked goods - spelt/ coconut sugar
When I’m busy I’ll let her have American cheese I know it’s so bad or string cheese

And yes my older kids are more picky but slowly they’re switching over to what my toddler likes

Interesting, my oldest ate a big variety of "real" food as a toddler. As my family grew I resorted more to shortcuts and convenience foods. Guess what? My wonderful bochur is now my pickiest eater. Go figure.
