I personally don’t like the look of pointy nails at all but that’s what seems to be in now.
What do you prefer?

I definitely don't like pointy. Mine are very small and round naturally so to get them square isn't so easy but I like square best.

Between round and square. I call it rounded-square

I feel like oval makes my nails appear longer.
I always used to go for square ish but now I do oval.

I like short, neat, natural shaped nails.
I guess it’s like rounded square.
Whenever I get my nails done they look at me like I’m a bit nuts because of how much I like them to cut.
Really long nails, especially the pointy shapes really give me the ick 😆

Same. I like doing crafts and being able to write and how can you do all that with long pointy?
The lady working at the nail salon thought I was crazy (and basically told me so) when I came back a couple of days after my wedding to have my long nails taken off. I just found it so unpleasant.

You may not like them. It doesn’t make them gross.
I happen to love them and find that they make my fingers look slender.

Short, pointy nails look weird, but they're actually very practical. They don't get in the way, but you can use them to pierce orange peels, pluck guitar strings, or defend yourself. But I usually just go with a plain roundish squarish shape.

That's what I like but I chose pointy because I assumed that considered pointy.
I find the square and the regular rounded or not slimming on my finger but the Almond not as pointy shape that just comes to a little bit of a slimming oval on top look very nice.
