I also like egg salad on any bread, sweet potato, lettuce, cherry tomatoes and olives.
Omelette with onions, peppers, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes in a buttered bagel/baguette. |
Yes tival salami, mayo and pickles was the biggest treat as a kid!
And I like grilled chicken or cold cut sandwiches with mustard, ketchup and lettuce.

Sourdough bread with creamy goat cheese and avocado (#1 favoritel)
Spinach and feta omelet open face on a bagel (mostly for breakfast)
Natural peanut butter (or almond buttet) and good jam on a rice cake (psa I live on this when expecting and it seems to lead to ba"h extremely sweet children)

My favourite of all time:
Seeded baguette with a very thin layer of cream cheese, arugula, fat slices of brie, very thin slices of granny smith apple, pomegranate seeds and a drizzle of honey. Toasted. I had this in a cafe in Paris and love recreating it!
Sourdough with cream cheese, tuna and pickled onions delicious 😋
Rye bagel with avocado, red onion, cherry tomatoes and lime.
Blueberry bagel with butter, warmed
Turkey sandwiches anything goes but best with avocado |
The Paris sandwich sounds insane! 😋😋

The best one I've found is called Artisanal Crust and I get it from Aisle One when I make an order from there. Another one that's good and more readily available is Bread Alone. I get that one at Whole Foods, but I have seen it in a lot of other stores, frum and not.

Yum! Ok, I’m gonna start trying these starting with the ones with the most likes. Not counting those that have tuna or lox (can’t have fish)

Just made this the other night. Was a hit.
Lightly toasted sandwich bread, spread with green schug and mayo. On top of this I place thin slices of avocado and tomato with chopped green onion. This was topped with a Sunnyside up egg fried together with strips of pastrami.
My daughter saw this recipe somewhere and asked me to make it. Total flavour bomb!!!

I noticed a lot of people love their tuna sandwiches in this thread. I am not a fish person by any means so I was kind of surprised too.

Lightly toasted bread (rye, multigrain, or baguette are my faves, but any good bread works), thin coating of mayo (on both pieces), lettuce(preferably whole leaves, not the shredded stuff. Iceberg or romaine), sliced tomato (salted) and avocado slices (also salted). I’ve done it without the avocado, too-also good. If you like cheese you can add a slice-as I get older I only like melted cheese so I don’t do that anymore.
