DD3 was perfectly trained day and night over 3 days last May, not 1 accident for 3 months. Since September, she has been regressing often with a pee accident daily (never #2, BH). Thankfully she goes at school since they have two group bathroom trips but the last week, she hasn’t been dry once when going to the bathroom, and a daily pee accident at school. I’m at my wits end and have been using a chocolate chip prize since September for each time she goes and is dry. Does anyone know a potty training coach? I got a quote from a psychologist for $550/hr! Need someone more reasonable but effective to navigate this. Help!

If she was fully trained but then regressed. I'm not suspecting a problem with the training. The most likely options are either a physical issue that popped up, which you would take to your pediatrician , a GI, or a urologist. It's an emotional response. My guess would be that starting the new school year is what triggered it.

The first step with emotional problems and young children is to give them 10 minutes a day of one and one concentrated attention with no phone or distraction. I know it's hard to do, but it's cheaper than that psychologist! It doesn't fix everything but solves a lot of problems for young children.
