DS3 has been wearing cat and jack jeggings since september when he was still 2. They all tore at the knees in the last couple of weeks which signifies they're too small/tight on him. I don't think at this age it makes sense to get him jeggings even though he is a tiny super skinny no behind kiddo. But I can't buy him regular pants yet either. The H and M slim fit didn't hold up on him!!! I had to take in the legs down the side for them to look normal.
What brand would you recommend for me to try?

Childrens place skinny slim fit. I think it is under uniform pants but those are the only ones that stay up on my kid. He wears them as uniform for school, Shabbos he wears it in black...
Old navy also has a skinny slim fit type.

When my son was that age, one the Jewish companies, I think it was crew kids made tights pants that were stretchy fabric and has fake zipper with a snap on top. Had an amazing fit, looked like real pants, felt like leggings
I also did very well with Zara skinny jeans for a couple of years with him

At that age? I put my kids in joggers, until they were old enough for belts. Comfortable for play, and more boyish than leggings by far.

This is what he's been wearing till now in 3T. They're too tight/small on him and I want to transition to more pantsy pants.

They will NOT stay up on him, and they're not the look I'm going for.

Do you mean these? https://www.childrensplace.com.....29-01
What about the Old Navy ones? Which ones?https://oldnavy.gap.com/browse.....t=166 I don't see any here that look good. Unless you mean girls pants or jeggings? I'd love a link to the specific one you mean.

Why don't you just size up to a 4? My 4 year old is still wearing it in size 3. Children's place ponte girls toddler jegging also are great but they're less pantsy then this. Primark girls denim slim for pants are bit wider than this

They don't have these in black. I don't want a denim jeans look.

You mean 4 instead of 4T of the cat and jack ones?
Childrens place ponte are less pantsy??? So then I don't want them. I'm looking to "upgrade"
I can't shop Primark online and till I get to the closest store....

It's crazy. I actually ordered this exact item (when I click on this link it shows "You have purchased this item... view order") and it arrived last night. First of all, I got the wrong size, size 3T but in any case, it's a regular chino pants, not a softer ponte feel. I'm so upset now.

You said your child is wearing a 3t in cat and jack so why don't you just size up?
Children's place totally dif look. More knit vs Jean fabric. Personally more comfortable.
