Why not? If you think "male gender" when you hear "police officer" "firefighter" "pilot" "doctor" "astronaut" "soldier" "soccer player" you're showing your ignorance. All these professions are open to women. The fact that women are in the minority in these professions doesn't change that.

Not really. If you think male when you hear these professions, it's because women are in the minority in (most of) these professions as you yourself stated. No need for the needless negative labeling or to find offense where none exists.

I am sure in Israel there are some frum policewomen. Outside of Israel, being a member of the police force in general is not a very Jewish job, let alone frum.

OP, I think its adorable. Let her be what she wants.

In some countries over half the doctors are women nowadays. https://www.oecd.org/gender/da.....s.htm

Not only does it not represent a police officer, it looks like one of those salacious adult-fantasy costumes that are simply cheap lingerie with a few glued-on decorations vaguely reminiscent of some uniform or other.

Yes, I was gonna say that it reminds me of those s-exy adult Halloween costumes

She will have enough years to dress up like a princess/kallah etc.. Totally ok to let her wear a community helper costume if her friends are into that. Smile
