My kids want to dress up as strawberry shortcake.

I searched online and I'm getting confused as to which one I should try to imitate.

The third is the most classic / recognizable by far. Second I think also is pretty obvious, I don't think the first one is as recognizable and also isn't so cute.

Why don't you go with the version that your kids like the most?

Those are different versions of the book/ movie over the years

When I was a kid, we all dressed up like the original version, and it was super cute, but I doubt anyone recognizes that now

These are the versions - imho it is a great reflection on how society changed from the 80's to today in what is considered appropriate for kids

In the books we have, she always wears a striped shirt with jeans. didn't realise it changed so much.
