S/o hugging- how often do you hug your teens?

I have in the first 2 age ranges you listed, and I hug them at least 3 times a day.
Generally when they go to school, come home from school, go to bed. They Generally initiate & come give me a hug.

8-12 - all the time! my baby is very affectionate!
13-16 - a few times a week, always on fri nite.
17-20 - never because they're not hoooommee and I miss them. I will make up for it when they come home for pesach!! Can't wait!

13-16:

1-2 times a day

my 15 year old more like 2-5 times a day, she needs it and comes to me for affection

8-12: a lot

All the time, all ages. I love my babies, and even my married son is still my baby. (Obv my big boys aren't home but they get a big hug when they come home)

I don't have any in the oldest age range, but I try for at least once a day. I also try to give them some other affectionate touch, not necessarily hugs. A shoulder squeeze, a hair ruffle, etc.
