we usually cook parve candies/sweets. buying stuff this year. I dont remember what people give us that's packaged. is it usually parve, or is it fine to give dairy packaged candies/sweets

Dairy is perfectly fine but you must make sure it's noted on the packaging

There are Chalav Yisroel individually wrapped labeled candies, so this doesn't really affect it
