We are located in Monsey but dont mind travelling

will keep them in mind when I go with my kids, but now its only DH, me and my baby. We can take with a baby sling for hiking...

If you enjoy hiking there are many beautiful places not far from monsey

I love hiking at Teatown Lake Reservation in Westchester County. There's a really pretty trail circling a lake, and there are other trails, too.
But keep in mind that you really cannot take a stroller there. The trails are unpaved and not very smooth.
