Does anyone have an older, sympathetic teenager who would babysit for my 4 year old son durring DH's grandmothers funeral tomorrow in Brighton Beach? It would be from a little before 11 until 4 or 5 PM. We would just need this person to keep him out of trouble if he gets noisy.
We can't pay much, but we will pay what the person thinks is fair.
please help us. We dont want to have to leave our son with a friend at home all day. it will not be good for him (we live 3 hrs away, so he would be with this person for probably 12 hrs +)

Please help

I would suggest a classmate for him, rather than a teenager. Kids need to be distracted to be able to sort through the thought processes. Call it play therapy.

We live 3 hours away. He is 4 years old I cant bring a classmate to a funeral. I need someone to babysit him, not to play with him!

I meant, have him stay at a friends house.

Oh! I would still ask a friend, not a strange babysitter. and Besides, it can cost you over $100.
