In answer to your question we use the pretty placemats from dollar tree, the crisper drawers with paper towels to absorb moisture- everything stays fresher longer as well, and the door we use shelf liner- just don’t take off the tape from the back..

I either cut up the refrigerator liners or put down parchment paper.

I don't. I don't put food in my frig that is above room temperature. No need to line perfectly clean, cool shelves.

Why do you line refrigerator shelves.

Mine generally stay clean for awhile unless there has been some kind of accident and then I clean it up immediately.

The shelves are glass and slip out easily and very easy to wash.

I also don't line bins as they are washed when necessary.

When I had old kitchen cabinets with wood shelves, I would line those. But my newer cabinets have shelves that are clad in formica and those wipe down very easily so no need for liners.

Thank you for asking this question!
Fridge door shelves have funny shapes these days and it's not easy to find a way to cover that will stay put and be spillproof for all the drinks that go in the fridge door.
It's annoying to have to tape stuff on.
I kind of am doing it "for show" as there's no hot items that I would put in the door, so I'm not makpid to cover every inch.

Silver foil...

Clean shelf. Dry shelf. Before putting in, line the door with foil and line the shelf with foil. Then snap back in.
