Hello ladies!

Hosting lots of company this chag, and I'm bored of all my tried-and-true recipes. They're yummy, but I'm looking for something new!

What are your favorite desserts, cakes and side dishes? Bonus if it's easy, but I'm also willing to patchka!

Fried cutlet recipe please! Yum!

I like the idea of something lemon, but we already made raspberry sorbet.

Anyone have a lemon mousse recipe?

Our favorite blondies

ALMOND BLONDIES (Jamie Geller)
INGREDIENTS
1⁄4 cup oil
1⁄3 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups almond flour
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup chocolate chips (I use half)
PREPARATION
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Mix all ingredients together until fully combined, adding in the chocolate chips at the end.

3. Pour mixture into a parchment-lined 8-inch brownie pan and bake for 30 minutes.

4. Allow to cool and cut into squares.

This is always a big hit and it's really easy to make.

Chocolate Macaroon Torte

1 box of macaroons
14 oz chocolate
3/4 cup sugar
7 Tablespoons oil
4 eggs

Preheat oven to 350°F. Press the macaroons into the bottom of a pie plate to make the crust. Melt the chocolate and sugar together in a pot, stirring carefully and making sure not to burn it. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the oil. Then add the eggs and mix again. Pour the chocolate mixture into the crust and bake for 30 minutes.

First caramelize onions- sauté on low and slow for a while

Dip cutlets into eggs, potato starch

Fry it in oil 1 min per side( almost like a sear for meat)

Spread out on cookie sheet, pour onions over.

Bake 350 for half hour.

It’s heavenly!

Super simple actually

Sauté onions ( strips) for a while on low.

Add broiled liver, turn heat to high and cook for about ten minutes ( I cut liver to smallish pieces)

Fill your crepes ( any recipe that you like) and roll up blintz style

I make a lot of Spanish Tortilla. Its like a huge egg and potato omelet. Its so good with a squeeze of lemon and tastes great all temps. A Sephardi friend makes it but otherwise no one else I have eaten by does.

If you read my other posts it’s all real basic pesach ingredients.

Sweet potato salad-

Lettuce
Cubed roasted sweet potatoes ( with oil, salt, pepper)
Cubed cooked beets
Slivered almonds ( you can sweeten it with honey and roast for tastier version)

Add in whatever else you fancy..

Lemon juice, sugar, salt , oil dressing

I don’t have amounts for any of this.. hope this is good enough

Carrot fries-

Cut up carrots in sticks, lay them out on cookie sheet, spray with oil, salt, pepper ( I add parsley flakes sometimes as well) and bake 400 for about 30-45 min till edges crisp up. I put those on bottom oven rack- they otherwise crisp at the edges before they soften.

lol.. not a recipe just instructions:

Mashed potatoes ( sautéed onions, cooked potatoes, salt, oil mashed)
Crepes ( any recipe you like- eggs, potato starch)

Layer crepe, potato mixture and keep going as many layers as you want-
I usually do about 8 of each ( in a deep 9 inch round pan) and cut it into triangular slices. It has a gorgeous presentation !
