My elementary kids didn't start yet! Late start today at 10 and the morning is so pleasant... We had waffles and banana muffins for breakfast and the kids are playing outside with no hecticness.

My 8 year old wanted me to go with her to school. I think she became attached over Yom Tov.

No option for kids aren't back in school yet Wink
In England schools haven't started yet. At least the ones that I know of.
2 start tomorrow but then they're home Monday because it's bank holiday. 1 goes back on Sunday. Son in yeshiva only next Thursday at 5pm! And my toddler starts on Monday at 10am.

Not bad
They were excited to go back to school.
Though I know from experience, this afternoon is going to be difficult.
Overtired, hot kids, after the excitement of going back to school, wanting to play and not go to sleep.

Totally smooth BH. My kids leave early because DH daves shacharis at the school at 7:45 a.m., but they got up without any issues.

I teach in my kids school so we didn't have a choice but to go. Honestly they were way more functional than me... After a very long day of traveling/flights they fell asleep last night at a pretty decent time.

Today was great getting out

As I always say it's not the first day that's the problem it's the second day, I hope tomorrow goes as well.

Only one kid missed the bus (cause he decided to go to the bathroom last second) and I just kept him home
Anther child the bus waited an extra minute for BHBHBH (she would have not been fun having home or having to bring to school)
Another child came a bit late to the stop but the bus generaly comes later then when he has to be at the stop (am I the only one that the buses seem to have a 15-20 minute window when they may come? Actually don't get me started with one driver who has a 30 minute)

Heart in my mouth.

One of my kids has sone additional needs and Im in tears about the way he went.

My husband "wasnt feeling well" and said the child shouldnt go because its just a disaster waiting to happen

I was left alone with 2 kids to deal with this morning.

I juat want to crawl back to bed and wake up when all this is over Crying
