It is the weekend of labor day so ticket prices are sky high
My kids would love to go on a plane but not sure I can find inexpensive tickets
Kids ages 1-11, we live in Lakewood, would drive up to 5 hours or fly up to 3 hour flight. We have already done Lake George, Lancaster, Vermont, Tannersville.
Would love any other suggestions, preferably close to a minyan, with things to do with kids (more than just nature and hikes)

what criteria do you have ? what activities do you and your family enjoy?

I would suggest you check out Williamsburg, Virginia.

There's Colonial Williamsburg, which is great. It's a big village set to look like a village from the 1700s. There are fun activities and guided tours. The shops are open, and the "shopkeepers" are happy to show you around and answer questions.

There's also Busch Gardens, which is the most beautiful amusement park in the country. It's a lot of fun as well as amazingly pretty.

Something that my kids would enjoy, and its stroller accessible
We enjoy outdoor activities but in the heat of the summer we may not be comfortable in the sun every day, so would love some indoor options as well. We enjoy hiking, boating, arcades, go karts, pottery painting, gardens, museums etc

Sounds great! I’m going to look into it, thank you!

Not sure how far from Lakewood it is but have you done New Hampshire?

If you want to head north again, Onset in Cape Cod and New Hampshire are both great options. You could also go to a city like Boston or Baltimore. DC has lots of great free attractions. Lodging there can be expensive, but you can stay in Silver Spring for a lot less (which also has several shuls and restaurants) and drive back and forth.
