He's 21 months, and all he wants is for me to hold him. All day.
He's heavy. I'm pregnant and exhausted. I just can't do this anymore.
He follows me from room to room, crying if I'm not holding him. We went through this a few months ago, it lasted like 6 weeks, and eventually he outgrew it. At this point I just don't know what to do. Today I've been letting him cry and ignoring it but I can't think that this is very good for him, having Mommy ignore him all the time.
I never had this with my older kids.
BTDT moms, please help...

Do you sit and hold him or play with him every 1/2 hour or so for 10-15 minutes. It might be enough for him and then you shouldn't feel so guilty about letting him cry.

Can you lie down with him? Maybe you can get some rest that way.
I have a 21 month old too and I can't imagine holding him for long periods of time unless I'm sitting down. He weighs a ton. He's adorable but he's keeping me busy today, B"H.
