How much do you pay for monthly service? I started off at $50 during Covid, and now its $115, for the same service. 1 gig.

Call your WiFi provider and say that you’re calling to cancel because it’s too expensive. I did that and optimum lowered the price from $120 to $75 monthly. My friend did the same with xfinity and also got a huge discount.

You should also be able to save quite a bit of money if you downgrade your speed. There's absolutely no reason that you need 1 gig and the bill that comes with it. Unless you have numerous devices all streaming 4k movies at the same time, you shouldn't even notice a decrease in speed.
