ok it's almost 9 here -- I have 4 out of 5 kids up and I have been trying to put them to sleep for the last 2 1/2 hours - any tips . I'm just escaping to immamother as I feel like going to sleep myself and just ignoring them... (well not the baby he'd come with me...)
Any suggestions for getting kids to stay in bed????????

How old? Is it a nightly thing or just an overdose of sugar?

We have a rule, unless they need to make, the children don't get out of bed. For anything else they need they call Mommy or Tattie to come. This has always been the case, since my DCs were out of their cribs and still no one ever gets out of bed after we tuck them in. (oldest if 7 years old)
Just institute a rule and stick with it. Maybe it will take 5 days to make it stick, maybe 2 weeks. But the rule is for everyone's good. Children get the sleep they need and Mommy gets some peace and down time before she goes to bed.
Hatzlacha.
