I'm looking for good Chanukah CD's to liven up my Chanukah family gathering. Children and adult CD's. My family is a mix up Sephardim and Ashkenazi backgrounds. This will be my first in my growing collection of holiday CD's for my family so I'd like to make good choices especially when I know it will cost a lot. Can anyone share in there Holiday favorites with me? Thanks

Paul Zim's is very good but it has a woman singing on it which may present a problem if a man hears it.

Chanukah Yingels is very good background music- no words, just tunes.

I saw the jem one its a dvd
I found it very emotional and I was crying,
it has a presentation tying in chanuka with modern times, then showing chanuka lighting around the world and different presidents lighting the shamash, then a gorgeous skit by some cuty kinder kids and a bit of tzlil vezemer (why can't they smile)
it has games too at the end for the kids

I'll check all of the ideas out thanks I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner but I guess it's better late thank never right? Oh and my husband is okay with hearing a women sing even though he is Orthadox I think he considers himself a little more modern when it comes to things like that. We do follow he commandments to the T. I guess he just hasn't understood the meaning yet. Thanks again Everyone.

we found a CD at our grocery store. It was cheap and figured might as well check it out. My husband told me to play it when he went to work the next day and let him know. Guess what... no kol isha, no using H-shem's name. It is a great CD. Its called Chanukah! Your Favorite Songs by Rite Lite Ltd.
