the old spice and spirit cookbook has a no-egg no mixer chocolate cake which goes perfectly in the microwave. I also once did a duncan hines mix, but had to split it in two batches.

I've made cakes in the microwave by using the same recipe. The baking should be done on half-power for about 15 min. cookies I haven't tried, since you could fit in so little at a time.

You can't do meringue, but other than that I've tried quite a few - both with whipped eggs whites and without. They don't get browned on top, obviously, and the texture isn't as spongy, but quite acceptable.

DANGEROUS CHOCOLATE CAKE-IN-A-MUG
1 coffee mug
4 Tbsp. flour (plain, not self-rising)
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 egg
3 Tbsp. milk
3 Tbsp. oil
Small splash of vanilla
3 Tbsp. chocolate chips, optional (I would definitely say to add this and you can even add more)
Add dry ingredients to mug, mix well with a fork.
Add egg, mix thoroughly.
Pour in milk and oil and vanilla, mix well.
Add chips, if using.
Put mug in microwave and cook for three minutes on 1000 watts.
Cake will rise over top of mug--do not be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little; tip onto a plate if desired.
Eat!

I just used plastic containers - very unconventional, for sure. I've even done noodle kugels when stuck - but don't fill the container more than half-way.

The Tupperware lady who's party I went to made a cookbook & she has one:
6 Minute chocolate cake
1/4 c cocoa
2/3 c hot water divided in 2
3/4 c + 2 T flour
1 c sugar
1/2 t baking soda
1/4 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
1/4 c + 2 T oil
2 t vanilla
1 egg
Grease a microwave safe dish. Line with plastic wrap. In another bowl combine cocoa & 1/3 c water. Microwave on HIGH for 40-50 seconds. In a medium bowl combine dry ingredients. Add remaining 1/3 c water, egg, vanilla & chocolate mixture. Beat until well blended. Pour into pan. Microwave on HIGH for 5-6 minutes without turning until cake pulls away from sides. Let stand for 5 minutes. invert, peel off plastic.
I've made it & its good.
