I would like to eat salmon now for lunch, but its frozen solid. can I bake it frozen or do I need to wait for it to defrost?

you can put it sealed in a plastic bag into a big bowl of water-This defrosts the fish or you can defrost in your microwave under the defrost setting.

I've done it before, but I like it kinda crispy so I had to bake it a bit longer since it was a tad soggy from the ice melting.

I only use frozen fish since I get it from a family business.

Lani22 is right the best way to defrost it is in a bowl of water, or under running water. I also find the microwave defrost to work well.

I bake it plenty of times frozen too- u can broil it that should take away the extra moisture...

Once it's completely defrosted, then bake it for between 25 and 30 minutes on 350.

It it's frozen, I would bake it covered, for about 40 minutes, then uncovered on high for a few min. (Check it, and reassess after 40 minutes.)
