Does anyone know what to do about cradle cap in a two year old? What is the best and easiest way to get rid of it?

I used baby oil. put on hair, let sit-hour or more, then comb and comb and comb (I combed while he was asleep on my lap during a scenic train ride while on vacation).

Someone recommended that I put vaseline in my baby's hair, and then comb it out. The cradle cap is almost gone, but his hair is still greasy, two days and two baths later!

try washing her hair with dishwashing soap. we used to do that after doing the margerine regimen to get rid of nits... its tough on grease...

I need to get a comb and brush for my 20 month old and spend a few days doing this... baby oil or olive oil I'm told are good.
I believe Shaklee said to stay away from Johnson's baby shampoo as it can make it worse...

Baby oil, comb it out. Vaseline is too hard to wash out. Baby oil is mostly gone after 1 shampooing, and fully gone after 2.

I finally got the baby brush and comb.
I put some baby oil onto his head and used the brush to massage it in, with circular motions. Then used the comb to get all the schmutz out. Then a bath and I'd say it's pretty much all gone (he won't let me check to make sure).
We'll see how long it lasts, if the cradle cap comes back... I hope not!
